Turn 1 at the Table
What does our first turn look like, from the card draw to the victory check?
18:47 · running time
Ticks itself once you've watched nearly all of it.
In a nutshell
- England v France and Spain v Ottomans: can't end on Turn 1
- Mandatory cards: play them the turn you draw them, then 2 CP
- Papal Bull: England v Spain can drop to 3 CP, then one Spanish step into Ireland or Scotland starts a war that never ends
- Spain: use the starting treasure this turn; no Philip and Elisabeth de Valois wedding on Turn 1 means one card less on Turn 2
- England: Elizabeth single = 1 VP a turn; The Sublime Porte can take the Ottomans; you score when the Ottomans climb
- Spring deployment: one sea zone, and never one with another major power's ships in port
